Car rental is available through different rental companies on the island; however availability is always low, so be sure you book in advance in order to find your car available. Rental agreement are different than most countries, so be sure to understand all rules that apply, before submitting an enquiry.

Please read and be sure you understand policy that applies to car rental, then feel free to submit an inquiry. It is not a reservation and is only meant to check availability and communicate final price. Then you'll have 2 days to pre-pay car rental in order to have your reservation confirmed; a voucher will be issued to state your pre-payment and pick-up the car at the given car-rental office.

Above prices refer to rental and insurance prices only.

- In case a car is available, to have your booking confirmed, you will need to pay the full amount of rental;
- If you cancel your booking up to 10 days prior to your pick-up date, full amount of rental is devolved;
- If you cancel your booking after the above mentioned deadline or in case of no show, one day of rental is charged;
- Insurance is mandatory and covers all type of damages, man-made or from natural desaster, if driver is guilty or not;
- Insurance does not cover damages / theft to car radio and tires;
- Insurance, first tank of petrol (priced 1,5 CUC/lt) and warranty will be paid in Cuba when signing the contract;
- If you return your car earlier than booked, the rental amount will be recalculated. The part of rental not used will be devolved;
- Car needs to be devolved at same time of pick-up (1h tolerance);
- In case car is devolved after 4h from the agreed time, 1 extra day will be charged;
- In the above case, keep your copy of contract, otherwise no money can be devolved;
- Extra warranty must be deposited when signing the contract. Amount varies by car cathegory and rental company;
- Amounts may be deducted from warranty in case of guillty accident or damages / theft of radio and / or tires;
- In case of accident it is mandatory to report it to nearest Police station;
- Car tank must be returned empty. No amounts will be devolved for gas left in the car tank;
- Driver must be 21. Extra driver on contract is charged 3 CUC/day;
- International driving license is NOT REQUIRED;
- All cars with air conditioning and unlimited kilometres. Car cathegories (not models) are confirmed;
- If car is left in another location, drop-off charges may apply (depending on the rental company);
- For cars picked-up at airports, extra 20 CUC apply, to be paid in Cuba, when signing the contract;
- For cars dropped at airports, 10 CUC extra apply if the car was picked-up in another station;
- When paying additional charges in Cuba, you can pay cash or credit card (which must not be issued by an US bank)
